Aeration elements - Tube diffusers - fine buble www.mivalt.cz
Aeration diffuser is a device designed to mix and water treatment used in sewage treatment plants, fish farms, ponds, etc. We produce and install tubular diffusers with PUM68 aeration membrane (soft-bubble) according to specific customer requirements Polyurethane membrane is flexible and resistant both mechanically and to aggressive middle and microorganisms. The recommended water temperature of up to 30 °C guarantees a long service life. The method and density of perforation, together with the properties of the material used, ensure, in addition to spontaneous drainage and avoiding clogging, a large number of fine bubbles that facilitate oxygen transfer. Low pressure loss and efficient use of oxygen will affect the economy of operation of aeration systems equipped with these membranes. Diffusers can be divided into: Large-bubble Medium-bubble Medium-bubble Large-bubble diffusers are used to mix water masses, where oxygen transfer is very low. Fine-bubble diffusers release into the water a stream of fine bubbles that rise significantly slower to the surface than large bubbles, brought into the water through the perforated membrane , allowing the efficient transfer of large amounts of oxygen into the water. The formation of an oxygen environment will allow the growth and multiplication of aerobic bacteria, which very intensively cleanse the water masses from organic substances, thus helping to decompose the sludge by enzymatic activity. The issue of air is all the more important because aeration of waste water consumes about 50-70% of the total energy of the treatment plant. Diffusers thus reduce the total necessary electricity in the WWTP by their high oxygen transfer efficiency. In addition, these devices, located at the bottom of the tank, allow to create flexible conditions (on/off) due to the oxygen content/need and related organisms and the regulation of their activity, which is an integral part of wastewater treatment. This is the creation of different zones, such as oxial or aerobic with enough oxygen for the life of nitrifying bacteria, anoxic with a very low oxygen concentration, suitable for the survival of denitrification bacteria, to anaerobic, where oxygen does not occur at all. In addition to nitrogen, phosphorus is also removed from wastewater by bacteria. Diffusers, among other things, prevent sludge from settling at the bottom of the tank and allow mixing.
