AUTOMATIC TOOL CHANGERS                                                                                                                         

ATCs  are used for machining centres and  for both horizontal & vertical machining centres to hold tools with BT,SK,ISO, CAT, HSK taper in 30, 40, 50 sizes.

Drum type magazine can hold tools upto 30 and chain type can hold unto 40 tools.

Arm drive unit is designed as an independent unit to give movement to tool changer arm. The tool changer arm has two movements, Axial & Angular.

These movements are generated using a globaidal Cam and Flat CAM. Cam unit is driven by electric motor through a reduction gear train. One revolution of CAM will result in 1 Tool Change cycle.

Magazine drive consists of parallel indexing mechanism and induction motor as well as servo drive.
