The LW2120 radar level sensor measures levels of liquid media up to 10 metres precisely and without blind areas. The 80 GHz frequency used ensures stable and precise measurement results, even in the presence of steam or condensate in the tank for example. With the antenna extension, available as an accessory, the sensor may also be used outside closed metal tanks, for example on open tubs. The radar measuring system can also penetrate through non-metallic walls, allowing the level sensor to be easily mounted above plastic tanks such as IBC containers.

Conductivity sensors are pre-destined for use in the food industry. They detect the conductivity and concentration of different media and can differentiate between e.g. cleaning agents, rinsing water, and the food product. This means that it is not only possible to constantly track the product but also to reduce the waste of product and rinsing water – all possible without making adjustments to the sensor. Oil sensors monitor the quality of hydraulic fluids and lubrication oils. To be more precise the particle monitor type LDP detects the purity level / level of contamination of mineral-, ester- and bio-oils. The oil humidity sensor type LDH measures the relative humidity and concentration of water in oil. Analytical sensors make an important contribution to condition-based monitoring and the avoidance of downtime.

The fail-safe sensor increases the uptime and safety of installations and can be connected to approved evaluation units without cross-fault monitoring. Wear-free operation guarantees low maintenance costs of the installation. Faults such as coil break or coil short circuit are diagnosed and the sensor passes into the defined safe state. Even a cross fault between the supply voltage and one of the two outputs does not affect the safety function of the sensor. Inductive safety applications are special applications which require a non-contact and safe detection of a metal object. Applications include reliable positioning on rotary indexing tables and machine tools, safe triggering of slow travel or switching off in end positions for presses, gantry robots and actuators or safe area monitoring for robots.
